The advantage of the types with an electric heater is that they provide domestic hot water even without a boiler or solar collector.
A regulator is used to control the boiler or solar collector heating and to set the temperature of the stored water, which can be adjusted with a rotary knob up to max. 65 °C, which can be adjusted with a thermostat.
